It takes awhile to get a bad manager fired, but it does happen. Iknow from experience. After I went to the president of our district, with massive documentation, that manager was gone within a week. Patience is a virtue. Keep copies of all documentation and hang in there
Reminds me of an incident that happened a few years ago in a central West Virginia Krogers. The manager was one of the biggest azzholes to walk on the face of this earth. He harrassed a mentally handicap bag boy because he had a grude against his mother. He even made crude comments in front of several co-managers. This boys mother obtained documentation and did not even bother with the union. She filed a lawsuit and named this jerk as defendent and Kroger as co-defendent. Well the co-managers were called into court and had to swear under oath and tell the truth. She had a jury trial and won the suit. Kroger had them keep the dollar amount hush hush, but I heard it was over six figures. Do you think that Kroger fired this miserable excuse for a human being? NO!!! He was allowed to RETIRE EARLY WITH FULL BENIFITS!!! Only in corporate America.
I have seen Kroger management fired for stealing and then later on I see them working at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, and so on as management there. What is wrong with this picture.
walmart an such are like krogers in their hirng they do criminal checks and drug test but do not do reference checks.we have 4 people from another store like target that were about to be fired for theft working in our krogers one has since bn fired for theft others r still there even though they have been caught doing several illeagal and immoral acts andone of them is management also there is 3 employees that have been caught stealing several times and r still employed at this store even the managrs steal i see it everyday they dont call it theft they say they r intitad t the perks caught the store manager stealing a xbox 360 bundlepak.
If you kiss enough ass, it is practically impossible to get fired no matter who or what you do. Kroger just sweeps manager mistakes under the rug and pretend it doesn't know a thing about it.
