OK so we get 2 cleaning carts. The cart has a place for a mop bucket a trash can and broom and dustpan holder. I was told by a zone staff member to use the carts for cleaning. So the past 2 weeks I was pushing them to the restrooms and cleaning the restrooms.That makes sense and anyone with common sense can figure that out. So one of the managers tells me that those carts were for spill response. They said thast one needs to stay in the back and one up front and to keep a broom mop with clean water
and spill magic on nthe cart. Now I know that sounds like somthing little to worrie about. But the thing is it really really pisses me off because I thought I was doing somthing right and then they come along and slap me in the face. I mean really. This is just another thing that is not going to work. You park that cart somewhere it is not going to stay their. This has really got me angry. What do you all think?
Now this is a cleaning cart.

I have another cart in my cleaning closet up front. It looks different and I keep supplies on it and it stays in the closet. This manager told me the cart I had in the closet was the cleaning cart. And somthing was said about so much supplies being kelp up front. The thing is the back you never can get to what you need so I keep what I need on the cart and I have been doing it this way for 6 years and nothing has never really been said. I can never get to the mop sink in the back room and I have told management and they dont seem to care. We have but down red tape to keep people from pushing pallets all the way to the wall but that does not help they always get pused up all the way to the shelf and you cannot get to the sink or the supplies. I just feel like I have been slapped in the face.
