The store management at store #130 are greedy. They take their sweet petty time to work on getting the proper supplies we need in order to do our job efficiently. They're so stingy about supplies that we always have to order off the shelves. Our sales are always booming around the holidays. You tell me, does make any sense to cut our hours around the holidays... NO!!!! I'll tell you how it makes sense, GREED!!!!!!!!!! Our store manager came into our department on one of the days he had a big wig manager's meeting and had a smile on his face so big it would make you puke just knowing what that greedy prick was smiling about!... MONEY!!!!! prick... >:(
PS- majority of the employee are a bunch of stubborn, narcositic, morons.
Retail management IS greedy, and you can trace it all the way to the corporate top. It's like this with ALL retailers. Managements' evaluations are based directly on their bonus sizes----and that is indirectly related to saving pay roll, cutting hours....and firing people.
At one time Kroger Managers used to get lots of kickback's. But ever since Key Retailing took over, the kickback's and bonus money now goes to the Zone Manager's and Higher Ups. Mostly now Store Manager's are glorified baby sitters with a ton of paperwork dumped on them. All these shippers that show up in your stores. Someone in upper management got big dollars or a free trip to paradise for them. Free football tickets, new cars to drive, gasoline gift cards, dinner at Red Lobster, all free perks for upper management on the blood and sweat of the hourly employee.
