They're probably trying to manage their bills on less money. Maybe their hours have been cut at work, also. Grocery prices have been, and still are going up for all of us.
Many reasons. First of all, shopping is a chore. They want to come in and get out. They're also thinking ahead of what they have to do after shopping, and chances are...it isn't pleasant. We take the brunt of it. And of course, the more "hurry" they're in...the more they're gonna f**k up while they're shopping.
Listen! Dont try to be cute on here. Keep your racist comments to yourself. Trust me I am going to delete anything deemed INAPPROPRIATE on here. GOT IT?? GOOD!

There are MANY people these days on public assistance, not all of them minorities. That said. . . . . .
Yes, I too have noticed the difference in attitude among many of these Link recipients. Many of them act quite arrogantly, are pushy, impatient, have screaming children that THEY, in turn, yell at , etc. etc. All this of course feeds into the general sense of tension/anxiety throughout the store for everybody.
Also, many of these Link card folks are THE FIRST ONES to be rude and abusive to cashiers when/if ever there's a problem (and we all know, with gov't money there is almost always a problem!).
In all fairness, I've seen literally rich people act like ass hats too. In its way, that's even worse.
None of this is racist, sexist or class-ist; just some observations.~
i've noticed this too, and it's not a race issue; black, white, purple, or green, you can spot these people a mile away. usually giant obese people riding in motor scooters with 2 or 3 obnoxious children in orbit. their buggies are full of steak, crab legs, chips, sodas, all kinds of junk food and junky heat and serve meals. i'm sure there are lots of people who need EBT and so forth to feed their family, and use it wisely, but the first example is what we see more and more of at my store. and we, the hard-working taxpayers, are paying for it.
this is not racism, or classism, this is a real thing.
