Retirement - Part time
Permalink

Good afternoon everyone;

I just had simple question I would like for sameone to clerify for me. I worked for Kroger since I was 15, and i quit when i was i beleive 22. So total of 7 years of service, in the mean time i went from  cashier, costumer service booth and than supervisor, i also must mention that during this time i was part time. My question is does kroger pay retirement for part-timers. I am 29 yeras old now, and this question started to come to my head, recently. My current employers puts money on the side for their employees and you earn interest on top of that.

Thank you

Did you contribute to a 401k plan while you were working?

You worked for them for seven years; that should qualify you for their vestment into a pension plan. It's what most companies did before the 401 K thing. Call their. H.R. office to find out.
