If i'm in grocery(6-2:30) i take my breaks at 8, 10, and 12. If i'm on the front end it's normally 3 hours in, 5-6 hours in, and 15-30 mins before I leave. front end is notorious for taking late breaks.

The only department I know of that has scheduled breaks is the front end because (1) you just can't leave your checklane whenever you want and (2) they have to make sure there's enough baggers there to serve the customers. All other departments you work in your breaks around your job. The only thing you have to remember is if you work at a service counter such as the deli you have to make sure there is someone there to cover for you if you want to go on break or lunch.
I'm in the bakery and we don't have scheduled breaks, the only thing is that if i'm by myself I have to make sure there's at least 2 people in the deli at that time so they can watch for me while i'm gone.
Our breaks aren't scheduled, but in deli you kind of make sure the person arriving before you has had their break first that way everyone can get their breaks. There's a lot of "have you taken your fifteen yet?" in the deli. But usually like a two hours fifteen minutes to two and a half hour window to take it. Some just take them every two hours. Bakery, where I spend most of my days, I pretty much work the first five or six hours then slam my breaks in at the end to make the time go by faster after I'm done with all my work. 10am is too early to eat lunch anyway.
I might be wrong, but i thought there had to be at least 2 hours in between breaks. Am I wrong on that?
There's nothing like that in our contract. I know one woman who takes her break after only one hour. The only thing our contract says is they can't make you take a lunch less than 3 hours after punching in or more than 6 hours after punching in. You can choose to go to lunch early or late but they can't make you.
We're generally told to keep our breaks spread out, but honestly, I think if I took my breaks earlier I'd get so far behind I'd get yelled at. I already get **** for not moving fast enough and I think I'm one of the most efficient employees! (Not to be ****y, haha)
