If store management hasn't dealt with this REAL SOON, make an anonymous call to your city's non emergency police dept. They'll put you in touch with the city contractor.
The only question is going to be be who pays the plumbing bill; the city or Kroger. Just depends on which side of the property line the damage is on.
when I worked at store 488 ( swkma dallas) in mckinney texas, there was an ongoing problem with an odor that persisted for years. Last I was told they finally fixed it . Was a drainage problem in the front of the store near the deli/bakery. Do not think it was because the worste of it was in the back of the store and back room area near the restrooms behind the meat department.
Our backroom always stinks :( I never know if it's the mice, the restrooms, or the compactor room...Also, no one ever cleans our store. Idk why bigwigs never notice it. It's really gross. o.O
well here is part two to this. so literally raw sewage is oozing up the drains into our work area. it makes a nice 6 foot diameter puddle about 3 inches deep around each. it is hard to navigate your way around when all the sudden this sh*t comes up from the depths of hell. it stays there for maybe 5 minutes then backwashes down again only to do it again another 15 or so minutes later. but if that isnt bad enough cause who knows what the hell that sewage water really is - the stuff STINKS LIKE ROYAL HELL!
I do not like working in the area when this goes on. Needless to say as to why. I know all the other fellow employees feel the same. So here we are working away with raw sewage all over the floor several feet away from us and an unbearable stench permiating the airas well. I am wondering this... What is our rights? We feel sort of compelled to continue working sort of in fear of management. BUT THERES SH+T COMING OUT OF THE PIPES! What would you all do

Hi there, the store i work at has a horrible plumbing problem......however, all the fixes are piece meal at best. Dont know the situation as far as property ownership....but do know that all capitol improvements are reflected in the calculation for management bonuses.......we have had raw sewage gushing out of the floor on the front end feet away from the service desk and all check out lanes.

The customer's restroom in our story always smells HORRIBLE. I've never been in such a smelly bathroom before. I complained to Kroger anonymously one day and the next time I was in there I noticed they had put up a bunch of air fresheners. While it smells slightly better there are still some times when you can go in there and almost pass out.

Our customer restroom always smells like a.ss, it smells fine after it just gets cleaned, and our courtesy clerks are awesome at staying on top of it, the customers are just gross. I spray the air freshener in there about 4 sprays every time I go in there.
