Hello everyone!
I am a current employee working Customer Service/Accounting, and an ASP job came up. The district HR guy said they will not hire current employees for this position, even though I would quit the union/current job for it. I was told they couldn't even interview me, even though I am more than capable of handling the job, and have retail experience and a college certificate in office management and working on my business degree. Also my managers think I would be a good fit for it.
Really?? What kind of crap is that?
If I were you, I'd take my education and skills to a strong competitor. You're getting the run-around.----And WHEN you get hired, send a strongly worded letter to Kroger H.O. explaining your career move, in unflinching detail.
