Well today I have to close : ( . I will be at Kroger from 3:30 to 12 Which means by the time I get off the new or reigning president will have already been chosen and everything. Everybody will either be partying or sulking by the time I clock out . I'm just wondering since everybody will be out voting will they possibly forget about krogers? If so i prolly can sneak up stairs and watch the news , which Im sure my fellow late night co workers will be doing too.
It sounded like you were worried at first about being able to vote. You can, legally, leave work to vote. I don't think people will forget about Kroger. A lot of the early voters will still need groceries. Unfortunately.
NOTHING stops people from grocery shopping. With Thanksgiving just around the corner you can bet that there will be a lot more people with the mindset you have, thinking everyone will be too busy with the election, and come out to take advantage of it. Really the busiest the polls get is in the morning when everybody thinks they are clever by going before work.

And that's exactly how it was at my store today, just as you described.
If your store is like mine nothing will stop people from shopping. We are always booming with 10 registers open at least 4 times a week from 2- 8. That's crazy. I think it's because we are a marketplace.
