Would it be a good idea if the put back where done 4 times daily by their department.

I suggested that 30 years ago. Was told they didn't have time for that...by management....

But they have time for us in the front end. Then they get mad then they don't get done.

 I've had my staff on a plan like that for some time; trouble is, there's so damned many returns these days that they literally don't have time to do them all and get the rest of their work done.

Yeah.  Grocery would spend all day doing put backs instead of doing their job.

Put backs for other departments are negligible.  Either they go back right away since they are cold, or there's only a few per aisle.

my shift as a cashier I stay 1 hour after close to clean to put things back on the shelves. also its usually slow between 11p and 1a so i'm able to do some while running u scan
