Well I go into work today in the deli for the first time in three months, and found out that after I came in our next person (not counting the chicken person) didn't come in for another 8 hours. Management knew over a week ago that one girl in the dept. wouldn't be coming back due to a healthscare with her unborn twins yet they did nothing.
Same thing on the front end. Cashiers and baggers scheduled hours apart, so the rest of the store has to take up the slack. Problem is a lot of the time there is is only one person in dept. so they can't go up front to help. Whats the usual amount of time between employees at some of your stores?
Yeah we have the same issue in our deli. They schedule like five people to work on a Tuesday during the day when it's pretty much dead. Then on the weekend we get two people closing when its slammed. Makes no sense.
