It depends on where you are at, and the rules of the area. All I can provide is the information that I know to be true for the Mid-Atlantic KMA and SouthWest KMA area.
1. Yes, you get paid for the time you are doing your CBTs, computer based training. It may take a pay cycle or two, and since you are starting on Saturday, you may not see a check until 11/29, and it will only be for Saturday. Sometimes, it may take even longer, so do not expect your check until 12/6.
2. Yes, after 10am, provided they have cash. You can pick up and cash out your check at the customer service desk/center.
3. It is just a bare-bones, basic introduction to the retail world that will take the majority of an 8 hour shift. It is most likely all computer based, and will go over common sense, key terms to the business, safety, and a few other things.
Yes, they can be, so long as they are black without color. Usually, if the trim is a different color, no big deal, but don't be surprised if someone were to question you. Goodluck to ya.
For the shoes they told me they have to be all black, so can they be sneakers?
Depends on the store. At our store, no one cares. One has bright blue, mine were black with hot pink on the rubber part, we have a hipster bagger that has neon shoes. Look at what everyone else is wearing and that will tell you how lenient they are.
I start training saturday and i have some questions, i will be a bagger.
1.Do they pay you for training? absolutely, should get 20-30 hours first week
2.When they pay you can you cash your check there? no, gotta go to the bank that is on the check or deposit at your bank
3.What is traning about, and how long is it? they dont really train you, well maybe for like a hour by another bagger then your on your own, its bull**** basically. dont stress easy job, youll look dumb if you take it toooo seriously. just dont slack too much
