I just recently began working at a kroger in Cincinnati, OH. I have a few general questions that they didn't go over in orientation or on my first actual day
1. When do we get paid? Where do we go to get the check?
2. How long after I start working will I recieve my first check? I started on a Saturday, which is the last day of their week. Will I get the check for Saturday this week or next week?
3. I was told in orientation that we get paid holidays wether we work them or not, and if we do work them we get time and a half. How much do we get on the paid holidays when we don't work?
4. What do I do when I have to pee in the middle of my shift? Do I just have to wait until my break?
I think that's it for now, if I think of more ill post them!

At least where I'm at, if you do direct deposit, it comes in on Thursdays. (it takes a few weeks to get it set up) otherwise, you get a paper check after noon on Fridays.
You are always a week behind on your checks. You more than likely won't get one until the Friday after this coming Friday.
It really depends on if you're full time and not and other factors if you're paid on holidays. Here, that isn't even until you've worked a full year that it takes effect, it really depends on your contract.
It really depends on your position what you do. Generally, you just go to the restroom and do your business. If you're running a lane, you let a front end manager know for someone else can handle the register while you're gone - more than likely you'll just sign off temporarily and go and do what you have to do.
If you're a stocker/produce/dairy, it's easier, just go and come back and continue what you're doing for the most part.
