Lucky me I got the day off. But I had to work the last two nights first, and bakery breakout, which is usually 2 trolleys full, and instead, we had 6 trolleys full. Breakout took me from 5-8:30 both nights. :(
hey wasnt too bad yesterday at all. heading in real soon today (thanksgiving) and we will have 15 deli employees there at 9:30 am. they brought 2 or 3 in at 6am then another 2 or 3 at 7am then 2 more at 8am then 10 more at 9:30! all deli party trays are made already and all thanksgiving dinner are boxed up the day before. wonder what the hell we will all be doing? I think your deli manager over-scheduled. You shouldn't have to make anything. All the bread should be baked and already out. The turkey dinners should have already been put together. If you're like most stores and close at 5:00 you shouldn't have to do an afternoon steamtable or any chicken after 4:00.
