The only thing the union is good for is taking your money and making it look easy. Trust me I've talked, met up with, and worked with them a number of times. It's the same run-around everytime. They're useless.
For those who dont know. The: "HA! Yea right." was me btw. it was a reply to the person saying the union helps. They don't. Their in it for profits and do not care about you just like Kroger.
The Union will help you get your job back so they can keep weening money out of your paycheck. Trust me I've been trying to work with the Union either my rep just really sucks or the system is flawed I've been at it almost a year now and have the right to my own opinion about them. It's also the general opinion around my Kroger that they suck and are incredibly lazy. They take forever to get anything done if it doesn't benefit them in any way. And eventually youll just get frustrated and give up.
first, it's obvious that the same person wrote then responded to this post. That's fine. If you don't like the union, so be it. If you do like the union, have at it. Blame is an easy thing to dish out. But sometime people might need to first look at themselves before casting stones.

Im not sure where this poster is located but I am in Ft Wayne In. I called 2 weeks ago and the office wouldnt give me thenumber to my union rep but said she will pass on the word.
Finally I started calling every hour on the hour and the next day I did recieve a call.
The union helped me a lot. One year Kroger completely stopped giving me hours out of nowhere. I tried to bump some people under me and they said "nope." So I talked to the union and they set up a meeting to meet with my boss and they got me back on the schedule.
