Jay-C: Missing hours on my weekly shift
Permalink

I work 3rd shift stock a Jay-C (Part of the Kroger family) I get about 23-28 hours a week on part time, and before our new boss, I was pulling about 45 hours on a 27 hour week some days pulling 15 hour shifts, but even now something is stricking me odd. I seem to be only getting payed for about 25 sometimes 15 hours, knowing that I worked many more than that. is this happing to anyone?

Ask to see your timesheet.  It's a violation of federal law for an employer to modify an employee's timesheet without their consent.  Any changes made have to be initialed by the employee.

Call payroll department or request your time sheet. Every thing you do is time stamped.

I sign the time sheet, clock in and everything and I've actually had the same problem 3 times now and it's getting old.

As long as you clock in your have irrefutable evidence of you being there. You should definitely get backpay to compensate any lost time. And as others have said, ask to see your ring history. Whoever does payroll in your store should be able to give that to you.
