Scheduling Issues

I would talk with your Store Manager since you've already tried the Department Head. If it can't be resolved by him go to your Union Representative.

I've been working at my store for almost 6 months and have no had problems with scheduling so far until we recieved a new manager. Since then I have always had issues. I will constantly be scheduled when I cannot work. When I was hired I told them and it is on recond that I am a student and that these are my avaliable hours. It really seems to me that this is constructive firing. What else can I do? My new manager just keeps repeating that I am limiting myself with my current avaliability and that these should no be an issue since this is a computer generated schedule. If this truely was computer generated then I would not be scheduled for time I have said I do not.

I have to clue what to do.

I cannot say our union will help with small issues if you are not in it but it might be different with yours.

I would join the union, because they won't be much help to you. What will happen is they will take care of their members first and then get back to you. When they've helped all members they will help you.
