Self appointed authority

Ever had that one coworker that has a lot of seniority, thinks they know everything, and makes themselves a self appointed supervisor by telling the real supervisors about everything the lower employees do that slightly annoys them? Really makes life a *****

Yes, I have someone who consistently badgers me even though i'm in reality her boss, but its more of a respect thing to me since they've been with the company for so long. I know exactly what i'm doing and I setup goals to achieve them as well.

Yes but I just look at them and don't do a thing they say.

Store815, Aren't you in the authority to tell them what to do anyway?

For me it's usually the lower-seniority lazyass kids that don't do jack. Buuuuuut they think they know more about how to do the job than me. I tell to their face that they don't tell me how to do my job, and that they don't have anything to say since they don't do theirs.
