For those of you who think 9.75 a week in union dues are to much , think again. believe it or not we do make more than alot of other grocery stores and last time i checked our insurance is damn good. GM workers pay alot more than we do in union dues and believe it or not we have better medical right now. Also, while true, employees are starting out at minimum wage right now ,how many of you are toppped out with pay, vacation and personal days? Go out in the world right now and see if you will make the same . I will gladly pay union dues and shame on those of you who don't.

Shame on those who want to force people to pay union dues instead of reforming the system. And shame on those who don't believe others are entitled to their own opinions.

In other words, shame on you.

If we turn on each other as working people, we're all going to lose in the end. Solidarity forever.

Agreed. We need to stand up against the unions and their liberal agenda.

 What is their liberal agenda?

The union has come into my work before and told us how to vote. Like, vote for Obama, kill babies, and get rid of guns. Maybe that's the liberal agenda.

That "liberal agenda" is why people in your store have seniority rights, paid time off, job security, and affordable insurance. If you feel that strongly about it, why not work somewhere else, instead of fighting with the people that are standing up for you and your coworkers?

Krogers without the union have that too.

Nice try. The union is worthless and just want your money.

I don't know what to think of the union either way since i've never had to use it but here we go again with the whole Democrats are baby killers who want to take away my assault rifle used for 'huntin deer' spiel. Yawn.

I am what most people would coin a "liberal", this is ridiculous. Kill babies? Get rid of guns? I don't think that's the liberal agenda at all. Who, exactly, told you how to vote? "The union" is not a living and breathing person, only individuals.

Andplusalso, liberals love unions. Conservatives? Not so much. Unions are liberals agendas.
