If I wanna give a christmas card, candy cane, etc. to a co-worker, does it have to be when we're both off the clock? I don't want to get in trouble if the company considers it to be a tip.

several years ago, the deli i was working in did a secret santa. boy what a fricken' mess. i am so glad i was smart enough not to participate.
I am no longer part of the oppressed, evil workforce of Kroger! Can you say "Hallelujah"
we did a secret santa and it worked out great. even some of the managers got involved a bit this year.
