Taking a vacation as a new employee

I just started working here so I have no actual vacation days...I'm not looking to get paid or anything for them (I knew/know I wont ) I just want to know if they're gonna give me a problem requesting a week off (Vacation is in about 2 months)

Shouldn't be a problem; hell, you should get a raise too!

You CAN but it doesn't mean you'll get it.

I think you can request non paid weeks off. Now, it depends on what department you work in.

For example if you're in bakery where you only have 5 coworkers, i doubt you'd get it. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't if I tried unless it was a really slow week.

YEs, you can request a non paid week off. I had to request 11 days back in November, but I requested those days 4 months ahead of time and it was approved with no problem at all. so My advice is go ahead and request your week off ASAP!!! the sooner the better!

yea it souldn't be a big deal but like the last person said, I would make a request for it NOW.  And just remember that others might already have requested that week off.  But if you are a kid / teen going somewhere with your family, mom and dad and stuff just explain all that to them and they should have empathy and agree to let you go.
