Getting Vacation/Leaving notice?

I haven't been offered another job yet, but I'm looking and there's one i'm close to getting, I think. When I put in my notice, would I be able to also ask for my vacation week for this year before I leave? Also should I stick with two weeks plus vacation week for notice or just one due to kroger's putting out the schedule every week?

Your vacation time accrued is for last year. So regardless of when you leave Kroger, you will get paid your vacation time as well. As for the notice - just give them the standard two weeks. Its the norm and decent thing to do.

So I would just have to mention to my manager when I put in my two weeks that I'd like to get my vacation pay as well? And maybe the T&A clerk too so they remember to put it in to payroll?

I am giving notice. Even though they treat me like **** as a department head. I am better than that. It's not the job itself it is corporate and management that's the problem.
