Hello, I'll start training for a new company in two weeks. After training they will hire me if I pass training. I have 3 vacations, 3 personal days. I'd like to work one day a week for a while to at least stay on payroll and keep my foot in the door. Any advice on how to take these vacations/PD? There is also talk of a lump sum associates will receive next month. Is this money owed to me, or would I have to stay employeed full time until I receieved this check? Finally, What do you do with your 401K? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
you'd want to put in for all the time off you can as soon as you can. i haven't heard anything about a "lump sum" of anything. your 401k you'd want to talk to a broker or something.
