So after waiting on my background check to come back I finally found out i was hired but the hiring manager said she would set me up for a training date this week. Shouldent I have orientation first? or does orientation happen on your first day of training? like when do I feel out papper work and pick up my name tag and shirt..? Ill be calling her tuesday if i dont recieve a call before then. I will be working in the deli.
Your first day will be orientation. You'll do all the fun things like read the handbook, the flip book, watch a few segments on KTV, store tour and the computer training. The computer training will take the longest, because you are in the deli you will learn a lot about food safety. You will get your shirt and temporary name badge your first day. The computer training is the worst part but after you finish you will go to the deli for on the job training. Good luck and welcome to the kroger family!
