In our area, the Drug/GM girls, and the department head, are on a lower wage scale than clerks and cashiers (but above courtesy clerks and fuel). Is that how it is in every contract?

It's not like that in every contract.  ATL area is all the same rates.

That to me is insane. Drug/GM always seems so busy in my store, they are in charge of quite a lot of items obviously :S

pfffft drug gm is literally the easiest department

e: unless the rest of the drug gm crew sucks, or has to spend half their shift running a cash register or pulling carts in from the lot
