Yes. I think that is what you want to hear?

It sounds like you have an open and shut case, but what do I know, I am not a lawyer. Call one.

Did they specify if it was for 10- 40 hour weeks, an average on what she has worked in the past xx amount of time, or a set dollar amount?

Make waves. It's her money if they didn't give her what she was promised!

She doesn't pay union dues anymore, he is no longer HER union rep. She isn't in the union.

we are going to find out monday from jeff crider.....i thought 10 weeks severance = 400 hrs.....she received 235 hrs.....even if they say fulltime is 32 hrs, that is 320 hrs.....i am very happy she is not employed any longer at krogers....we will be fine...one door closes..another one opens up....i just want krogers to honor the signed written agreement that kroger, union rep and her signed

The union is always cutting deals with Kroger, because the union usually doesn't want to actively persue what is fair and right. It was an open and shut case on one particular thing, but my union representive advised that I take it to avoid arbitration. Why exactly did she get a severance package?

she was a meat wrapper in the kettering area....she had 23 yrs in......could her hourly wage have caused a probelm in her dept ?......she worked many yrs in springfield and a meat cutter named thomas, who i think ran dept, took excellent care of her.....she should have stay there

Just before you leave what local was she in and what is the classification? $13.70 / hr sounds like a Market Assistant.

Just curious what did they keep suspending her for? no pay doesnt matter how much you make in a department. But could make you a target because management/kroger would rather fire the person making 15 an hour and replace them with someone making 7 an hour.

I've have had problems in the past where somebody didn't like me and they were trying to get rid of me... what did I do? I put in a letter to transfer since a spot was open at my old store and FORCED them to put me in where I wanted to be.

well, since she lied to me about her severance package amount, i am starting to wonder about her deceptive behavior . she was always elusive about her suspensions but i was led to believe they were from customers and management who would place her on new duties without training and then would find fault with her performance.

Go to couples counseling. You won't get the help you're looking for here. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I know the board mods don't like going off of Kroger topic. Relationships are definitely not on topic. Good luck with whatever you decide to do...and just think, you saved money on not having to hire a lawyer.
