I am a former Kroger employee that wishes to let others know my case. I worked for the company for over five years And had been harassed, called a liar, treated unfairly , and most recently written up for being a tiny bit late while others were over two hours late including a manager. I finally had enough and called it quits. But be aware that they can and will treat employees that are not their favorites with prejudice in certain stores and I had no other write ups or nitifications. I never did what they said I did, but rather gave up my sanity literally. I am now mentally unable to work at this store.
That's just bad management, which you will find at a lot of places. Don't give up your sanity. No job, or employer, is ever worth it. BTDT, and leaving was the best thing I ever did. Not leaving Kroger, mind you, but a different place, a small family owned operation. Sh1t managers/owners/whatever, are just that. Can't change it, just change your situation. Good luck moving on from there.
