Can Kroger fire you if you were shopping in a different store you did not work at on your day off and another associate starts arguing with you and then they attack you and you defend yourself and couldn't prevent the situation?
yes they can you were on kroger property. They typically fire both parties when they get into a fight. They don't know if you provoked him or if you guys knew eachother or had a proir history ect.
I heard about one employee getting their job back after a very similar incident. But, the person had 20 years with Kroger. I do not know what happenned to the other person.
