Random question, I have heard a lot of the younger employees talking about different drugs in the break room. I was wondering if Kroger does any sort of drug testing after you are hired?
If mgt has suspicion someone is intoxicated, or otherwise under the influence of something, they can test you if they see fit. I'm sure it's in the handbook.
Here's what happens. Say, if you wrecked a piece of power equipment into a door or something like that, the show stops. They have a member of management or a licensed A.P. person escort you personally to be piss tested.
They can't drug test you unless something like an accident happens. There is no random drug testing. That may just be in TN where I am, but it's definitely that way here.
