Night to days, full time pay question
Permalink

Hey guys, I have been a store clerk at kroger for 4 years and ten months and am currently on nights. I'm making 12.40 an hour and got full time sometime in March of this year. If I go to days (which is what I'm trying to do) will I keep my 12.20? On the full time pay rate chart it shows 12.40 but I don't know if my seniority in terms of pay remained the same and I got credit for my other years as a part time. It will be a full time position in Grocery as well, nothing changes except it's days not nights.

I'm in the Mid-South Division, soon to be Nashville division.

You should keep everything except your night premium, which is $.50 if I remember correctly.

In Michigan you can only move to days from nights 2 months out of the year and have to contact the Union. As a few months ago you have to have a form from the union, so make sure you do that too. As far as payscale, if the top out pay is more then what you are making now, you are in the clear minus the night premium pay.
