Worker's Comp

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me out. I found out yesterday that I need surgery on my right wrist to remove a painful ganglion cyst. My orthopedic surgeon told me I most likely formed it during my 2 years as a bagger because they are typically a result of repetitive movement. I was a bagger from July 2010 until August 2012. I quit to go away to college because I didn't think I would come back, but I actually decided to go to a college closer to home and wanted my job back so they rehired me this May as a floral clerk. Anyway, I had the cyst aspirated (drained) in March, but it came back and is really painful since then. It's making my job next to impossible without being in constant pain. I'm going to have to take anywhere from 4-6 weeks medical leave. I am part-time working approximately 35 hours per week; will I be paid for my leave time? Also I could I claim this on workers comp? I mean.. How can I /prove/ I got it from bagging? I just really cannot afford to go 6 weeks without making any money.. I have bills and I'm a broke college student :/ Thanks for any help (:
