I use to hate cleaning up after lazy people, F*CKING GO-BACKS, doing what checkers/dept heads tell you, carts, basically everything. So glad I got promo'd to produce. But I STILL show the courtesies respect an if I can do things myself, I will.

Cashiers who think they are better than everyone else and try to give out orders.

Oh let there be no doubt that this annoys other cashiers and even supervisors and dept heads too.

1) Bathroom cleaning when some jackass (or more likely, 90-year-old) 'does their business' errywhere.

2) Pushing carts in the rain/extreme heat/snow

3) Minimum wage, with not even a chance for a raise till you advance

The lot being overloaded after some lazy moron that won't do the job and then getting bitched at about why it wasn't done and why I'm hauling in huge loads.

Customers that take over in front of you while your trying to bag their order.

As a floor supervisor I remember one particular cashier try to give me orders.  How about ... NO.  Needless to say she's not in the dept now.  Not my problem.

checkers who TRY to micromanage you and tell you how to do your job. then they have the nerve to get pissed off when you say "I know my job and how to do it."

being the lowest of the low and EXPECTED to do alot of work for minimal pay. (say pay is $8.00 for a courtesy, they EXPECT you to do $20.00+ worth of work.) don't want to do the $20.00+ and only do what you are being paid to? the door is located to the right, don't let it hit you on the way out. Good luck with unemployment

I hate the following

  • Taking trash out of lazy peoples carts.
  • A select few cashiers that think they own me and tell me to do every little thing for them.
  • Babies/young children & some old people.
  • The Pay.
  • Pushing carts in the rain.
  • People who try to give their small carts when I am pushing normal carts or the other way around.
  • Other courtesy clerks that go out on carts late and come in early.  Related: When courtesy clerks don't know it's their cart shift.
  • The pain I am in when I leave work.  Ex: Back and feet pain.  However, this could just be a personal problem because i am flat footed.
  • When new courtesy clerks are hired and get 30+ hours

That's all I can think of right now.  It gets me angry just thinking about some of these things.

A) Idk if your username here comes from your real name, but if so, you need to fix that. This is not a company-sponsored site and it is very prudent to have absolutely no identifying info here.

B) Onsite training will consist of computer training modules and a bit of paperwork before being sent out to the floor to learn the actual job.
