What do I have to do to get my eschedule availablility request approved faster? I'm 15 and thought school work would kill me when actuality its vise versa. When school first started I was usually working from 15 to 18 hours. The manager left for vacation and let some one else make a schedule anf I only had 4 hours. I talked to my gm abouy this and he told me that it wasn't the fact that I was a hard worker, but the e schedule problems fault. Long story short my availability was 4:30 to 7pm. I recently changed it to 3 to 7 buf its still saying pending even though I put it in over about a week ago. I'm a bagger in front end and would like to get more hours. My Gm looked kind of mad when he found out I was only scheduled to work only 4 hours this week. Can anyone tell me how to speed the process up so I may nget the availability approved? If anything, the store manager should be able to get that done himself.
I always let my store manager / GM know if my availability will change. Hell, I do it a day before the schedule goes up and he still manages to put it in correctly.
Anyone in your dept or any member of mgmt in your store who can access eschedule from the schedule writing side of things can accept your availability. If you are having this much trouble getting it accepted, you are getting the runaround, though idk why.
