Why Does Everyone Seem to Complain.

I have worked at Kroger before. I know the mindset of a lot of employees and managment at the store. There is this whole atmosphere of filing greivences when something happens you don't like in the store, bumping schedules and times, doing your best to right any wrong Kroger does on purpose or accident, basically the whole mind set of don't let Kroger screw you and screw Kroger in the process.

Here is the deal...Has anyone ever thought to themselves that Kroger and managment do the things they do because 1. The employees are in the union. 2. Employees make it a point they are not putting up with any crap from the store. 3. employees as a whole don't work as hard as they can and so many other reasons.

Why does no one simply not join the union, do what they are asked all the time? Every job will have things you don't like about it....just do it, it's everywhere you go in life. Just work hard, dont complain like babies as so many of you do on here and work! Be happy to have a job.

Even if we join the union and are model employees, the can and STILL manage to screw with us. Normally, I do what's asked of me with no problems, but here's the deal, screw me over intentionally and I can and WILL screw you over. And it will be when YOU REALLY need the help

A lot of wisdom here; I totally agree. I live in a union-based factory town, and all my life I've seen people go on strike over some of the pettiest, most ridiculous NON issues.

Every job we ever work will have its down sides,,,,,That's just life.

You seem to misunderstand, lokee901. Some of us do what we believe to be right and still get screwed over. Even getting blamed for things that are 100% not our fault. Corporations are not the good and honest entities you believe them to be.

If you walk the strait and narrow someone will push you off the edge... and there aren't just 2 directions you can walk. Do your best but put as many safety nets as you can along the way.... that's why we have a union.
