I have been with Kroger for about 3 months now and I read a memo about bonuses. I am a bagger and was wondering if I am entitled to one. The memo also mentioned that it picks the top rated clerk for the bonus. How will I know if I am entitled to the bonus? Also how will I know my rating?

I don't know what you read, but I'm almost 100% sure it wasn't meant to be read by you. Hourly clerks don't get bonuses. We get raises based on time of service, but not bonuses.

I am not sure what the OP is asking about either. I have read(in the contracts) that there are bonuses for Department managers based on sales but don't understand how that works.
Also, when a new contract comes out, they use the term bonus to describe the payraise. The contract comes out in June, Dept head, full-time and top payrated part-time employees get the raise from January to June in a lump sum check.?

Pharm techs get bonuses if we hit our goals with vaccines and MTM stuff.

The dept manager and asst. dept manager "bonuses" are actually premiums added to their base hourly rate of pay.

Right, I guess I was leaving you guys out but I could have specified that since RX treats many personnel-related issues differently.
