My work shirt is TOO BIG
Permalink

So I just started work and they gave me my work shirts.  They are supposed to be SMALL but they are oversized to the point of being LARGE.  The sleeves come down past my elbows, it looks hideous.  I tried to shrink them but I had no luck.  I asked the manager to order me an XS and he said in the meantime just wear a polo shirt with a collar which i did but then the next day one of the people in charge of my department didn't know about this and came after me with a work shirt.. this one was a MEDIUM.  I have a feeling the XS shirt will never come or possibly doesn't even exist?  What the hell am I supposed to do?

Eat lots of icecream.  Yup, day and night.

This site if for Kroger apparel but I do not see xsmall available.  Write or call to find out.  http://krogeressentials.com/

Maybe even call HR and ask them what you can do about it.  They might have a solution or help you pay for something that fits you properly.

If you were creative, you could buy a Polo in same color and transfer embroidery?  Or pay a seemstress to alter them.  Not sure what your budget is.

I don't know how outdated that website is but none of those shirts on there look anything like the polos we wear.

I would expect to agree, but the site won't even load past a blank white page for me.

yup, I posted link from another post.  That blue Polo in the pic doesn't look like our current one.  Our logo is on the right sleeve.  I am guessing it is a file photo?  Or someone didn't get the "memo" to update the pics.  I know I am always the last one to get the "memo".

I hear the birthday suits are a real bargain. You won't ever have to worry about the size of your apparel again!

Not all of the divisions wear the same uniforms.  Columbus has navy blue polos, while Cincinnati has a brighter blue shirt.  That website appears to be for Central Division, according to the giant image on the page.
