It has to do with Key Retailing.  Kroger purchased Key Retailing from Wal-Mart. They are so much paper work and all Kroger send's trucks to Wal-Mart stores. That is why you see Kroger trucks there.

You sure about this? The Kroger distribution center and Wal-Mart distribution center don't mix. We can't deliver Kroger-brand products to Wal-Mart, and all the freight is mixed together. Nothing makes sense about a Kroger truck going to a Wal-Mart distribution center to do their deliveries for them. WM has plenty of trucks.

We got two cases of chicken breasts in that said Kroger on the box but the packages inside said Meijer.

I don't find this at all surprising. The fact of the matter is a lot of "store brand" food/drink is actually another brand of food/drink repackaged. In the case of name brands, the money is used for advertising. Sheep flock to the name brand stuff not even realizing a lot of it is offered as store brand as well.

The more you know.

meijer is owned by Kroger. Genius.

What kind of truck is it? Not everything delivered to Kroger comes from a Kroger warehouse. Vendors, Tyson, produce, etc go to multiple chains.

Um... no Meijer is not owned by Kroger, genius. It's one of Kroger's competitors in my part of Ohio (as well as a few other states)

Yes it did!!! Yes it did!!!

It was called another name and Kroger has changed some things. It never worked for Wal-Mart so Kroger got it and is trying to force it to work. Adding things like Q Vision and things like that having Dips and even the way store sweeps are logged are all things Kroger added to Key Retailing. I am not sure what Wal-Mart called it I heard my manager say a few weeks ago and I have seen it on here I did not really believe it when I saw it on here but a manager said it it must be true. Some day it may fail and Kroger may go down. I heard all these other companies in the South East US like Bruno's for one had things like Key retailing and got so caught up in it that the company went down. Even the old Piggly Wiggly the one that had the warehouse in  Vidalia Georgia went down because of things like this.
