Does anyone else hate the Kronos finger scan time clocks? These were supposed to make our hours " accurate and precise." I haven't been paid correctly since they started it here. If you work third shift (night stock) and you work Saturday night into Sunday morning it doesn't even go on the check it's supposed to. It carries over to the folling week. I have been messed out of overtime pay and 40 hour checks repeatedly because of it. One more way for the company to rob us and it's all legit.
whtever happened to not being able to punch in early OR PUNCH OUT LATE?The system works if you are trying to clock in on time but what about those people who rob the company on OT hours?I have witnessed several employees doing nothing after their shift is supposed to end but dont clock out.I thought the system was suppose to clock you out at your shift end.they really need to enforce this.So many hours are being wasted at my store.Hello zone C manager check out who has the most ot hours in your stores.I bet if you see whats going on it will really upset you.WASTED ASS HOURS WHEN SO MANY PEOPLE NEED JOBS OR SOME OF OUR FELLOW CO WORKERS ARE LAYED OFF.
The only thing I have seen it change is the fact that we have to clock ourselves in instead of getting a buddy to do it to cover for us when we are late.
You punch in on Saturday night....let's say at 11pm. And you work until 6am. The system weighs before and after midnight. Whichever has the most hours is "heavier" and falls to that week. So from 11pm to 12am is going on the following check. However if you work the majority of hours (say 6pm to 2am) All those hours would fall on the previous week. In other words whichever has more before or after midnight it gravitates to that weeks check.
That's lame. I don't like our clocks either because they don't read fingers well. OT is so closely watched at our store that even a little OT has to be approved by mgmt. If you're wasting time, you are going to get caught and punished.
