so i called out yesterday bc i wasnt feeling well/had stomach problems, and my manager told me i should go to the doctor, but im not going to bc its not serious enough to visit a doctor. Ive only called out once in the 4 months ive worked there and that was for serious strep throat where i did turn in a note. Will they fire me for not bringing in a note?
You'll be fine if you don't get one but I would recommend it. Having a doctor's note makes an absence excused; if they don't get one, it'll be unexcused.
