lol, sort of but not really. You get the satisfaction of showing up for your job instead of running around trick or treating. You might get some candy out of the deal. But, no, you do not get extra pay unless your manager decides to give out gift cards.

This guy sounds like one of them young ones in high school. They think ANYTHING that's celebrated within the calendar year is a legal, federal holiday that falls under a different payscale.
No, buddy, you don't get paid extra on October 31st. If that's the case, they need to start paying extra for Columbus Day, Fair Day, December 7th, Patriot Day, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Summer Solstice, Winter Solstice, Pi Day, Flag Day, and most importantly, my birthday.
