Dairy hours?

I thought about posting this in the other dairy thread but wasn't sure it would be seen.

im moving to dairy next week.  I was told my hours would be a max of 21, which is absolutely fine with me.  But I do have two questions.  Someone told me grocery depts don't work on Sundays or Wednesdays In my store.  Does that sound correct, and if so, does that include dairy?  Also, what are the daily hours that dairy works (for example, courtesy clerks work from 7a to 11p, and cashiers work the whole time the store is open)?

Don't listen to "someone".   Go and talk to the person in charge of dairy or look at the dairy schedule.  You must work at an awfully small store if they can allow all the grocery departments ( grocery, frozen, dairy) to be unmanned two days a week.  Personally if I were full time,  I wouldn't want to work a set schedule like that.

That sounds like the hours of a back dock reciever. Usually those guys work 5am-1pm each day except Sunday and Wednesday.  But, there is no way a day would go by without someone being there to stock milk and eggs, especially on a weekend.  You must have been misinformed some how.

completely possible.  when I was told this, it was during hiring orientation, and since it didnt apply to me, I probably misunderstood.
