Every time I check my schedule online, near the top, there is the following message: "Your schedule has changed since it was last viewed. An alert icon shows which weeks have been updated" and in addition to the alert icon, there is a "*" next to most of my shifts throughout the week. I don't understand why this message keeps coming up though because I always look at the paper copy in my store first and then look at the online schedule, and they are both always the same, so I'm not seeing these "schedule changes" the online schedule continues to alert me to. Does this message come up for everyone else here or is it some kind of bug in the system?
Well I just investigated it and it showed the same thing for me too.
However, on a hunch, I logged out and logged back in and the message was no longer there. This tells me it's a semi-generic message relaying the exact info it states: something changed since you last looked at the eschedule portal. Apparently this includes the schedule being posted. It must look at it as you not being scheduled for the upcoming week and then suddenly that changed.
Kind of stupid, since I would think the schedule actually being posted wouldn't be something that should alarm the system.
On the wall schedule it'll tell you what you are suppose to do when you come in such as nutrition or self- checkout whatever department you are in it says how long as well

why do some days scheduled to work have the * and some do not?
I was told this indicates that the day in question was manually entered, as opposed to just going with whatever the computer dumped out. Not confirmed as true, but experience says it is likely.
