so practically everyone in our deli department hates our she devil deli manager who barely does **** but just goes and site upstairs for hours and when she does decide to come down its just to bitch at everyone... no joke when we get most new hires they leave in a couple months or less usually less sometimes they just stay a couple weeks how do we get a change and get her ass out of our department because we are all fed up
Wrong answer! Why would you commit stupid act of vandalism where you have a chance of going to jail or at the least having an arrest record/probation?
If you really want something done then start documenting her behavior- what time amounts she's gone upstairs everyday, what she says to her employees- if she is hateful or uses profanity when she says it. Then after a few weeks gather all your evidence and call your human resources division office and ask for a meeting and say you all feel like it's a hostile environment and your boss is mean spirited. BUT you must all be on the same page and be telling the truth. I'm just assuming from the story you're telling that either the mgmt. knows about this ongoing situation and chooses not to address it or thinks you're all just complaining about having to do the jobs you were hired to do. BUT if you haven't calmly and politely brought your concerns to your store mgmt. then H.R. will route you that way first before listening to you. In any dept. head's defense- nowadays with all the time consuming, micro managing policies in place half of their work day could be spent doing reports on computer and bs paperwork- but not everyday, all the time. And guess what the next dept. head they bring in may be even more worthless so be careful what you wish for. It's a high stress, high turnover position and the real good dept heads moved on a long time ago.
