No my parents wouldn't look thru my mail. But my question is, would it show up somehow that I used the insurance? Like could my parenta tell tht I've used my insurance card? does anything get sent to them, in the mail, or online saying it's been used, and for what?
UFCW always sends an insurance statement to your mailbox after you use the card. It takes about a week for the paperwork to go through and the statement to be sent out. it will have the UFCW logo on it and inside it will say what it was used for depending on how the provider billed them.
[Edit:] Don't be ashamed of your sexual urges. I wish I was getting some :P

And I don't really know the answer. I would appreciate no negativity.
So I have been with my boyfriend for almost a year, we haven't had intercourse yet because we both want to get tested at a planned parenthood clinic, first.
My question is, using my Kroger insurance, will anything about what I'm using it for or what I'm buying show up on anything in the mail or will my parents find out somehow? They do not work with Kroger, I just don't want to use it & then thme find out somehow thru insurance/and or mail that I used it for THAT. I'm 16, better safe than sorry.
You would need to call and ask Planned parenthood.
I am glad you two are thinking somewhat ahead.
I would prefer that the two of you wait until you are both 18 before you open this door in life.
Not all relationships last. What if he gets what he wants and then dumps you?
Think of the consequences before jumping into bed with each other. Not all birth control is 100%. What are you going to do if you get pregnant? Search how alive a fetus is.
Both are emotionally painful.
There almost has to be a way to keep this information confident for a minor.
They might end up mailing the test results to your house. I know some preach abstinence as seen on this forum, but lets face reality here. If you're going to have intercourse be prepared. Use condoms, birth control, and if the condom should break buy Plan B which is now on the shelf and no longer OTC. I had an "accident" even though we were doing both of the above, but for safe measure we used Plan B.

Being as you are 16 your parents might look into it if results are mailed to your house because you are still a minor. Or they might be the type of parents who say just be careful and use protection. It's up to you. Do your parents look through your mail? If not you may be in the clear

If you're embarrassed about this then you are not ready for the responsibility this type of activity requires. at your age, and clearly inexperience, why do you and the bf need to get tested?
we don't need another unwed coworker making babies... male or female

thank you in advance.
Coupla things.
First, what are you getting tested for? If it's STDs, I applaud you both for checking into it.
Second, if you're going to Planned Parenthood, most of those clinics are tax funded; no need for your insurance provider to be billed. As for your parents finding out, P.P. in some states are legally required to notify the parents. I would call the clinic first and learn more about this.
Listen, people can in fact control themselves. To state anything else is just someone trying to justify their own actions. Abstinence does work, because people aren't animals.

Can? Oh absolutely, they can.
However, will they? No, very rarely these days.
In this case, can and will are almost completely unrelated.

I wasn't referring to myself if you really need to know. But anyone who really thinks that's the only thing to teach to teenagers isn't too smart. I'd rather people know about birth control than not know about it and see what happens.
