So I finally got called for orientation more than 2 weeks after my interview. It's tomorrow at 10 a.m. Just so I'm clear, this means I'm for sure hired right? Also, what does orientation consist of? Like do I hear about uniform policy and get a schedule? I think I'll be working in the meat department if that matters.

I thought people were joking when they said working for Kroger sucks...
For me "orientation" was like anon said just signing/skimming hiring paperwork.
I also received my work shirt and namebadge, and depending on where you live you may be scheduled to go to a training center where you will go train (if they have meat depot implemented there)
(my orientation of 1hr credit, and all training is paid for)
After your orientation you're quote unquote hired.
