confuse i applied for full time and i just got on schedule and uts less than 20 hours how do i get more hours how do i get full time im a single parent no cash aid help so not getting help from government i have 2 kids like really when will i do 40 or more.hmmnodisbelief

Well, my first suggestion would be to get out of retail.
My second suggestion would be to apply at your local temp agency.

I doubt you applied for full time. They only hire for part time positions. I'm sorry you aren't getting the hours you need but the employees that are already here aren't getting full time, there's no way you will.

I've worked there 2 years and I get such odd hours still, last week I worked 40, this week I'm only working 16.

Never, get aid and food stamps for your children.  keep on working in order to get a tax refund.

There is no such thing as full time anymore at kroger. Only people who get full time now are veterans and department heads. You might work 40 hours a week every now and then but you will never gain full time status unless you are a badass worker in which case they will make you a department head.

I so agree with that statement, people have been at my store for over 14 years and they are still part time.

FT is not unattainable. I achieved FT status after 3 months. I didn't become lead tech until this summer, long after I became FT.

Get off of the front end if you can, if you can hack it in grocery, you'll get more consistent hours and usually around 40.
