Hey, is it 14 consecutive days that if you don't work, you are off the payroll?

Ie. if you work two days each week (Mon and Tue) and you took this week and next week off, and if you come into work lets say Tuesday or Wednesday of the third week would you be off the payroll?

Unless you quit or get fired I don't see them "taking you off the payroll".

if you requested the days off they can always deny the requests.  if it's not vacation or using personal days, I'm not sure what you're talking about.  are you calling out on all your shifts for two weeks?  we've had someone who tried to call out but she only worked two days per week and if she hadn't come in she'd have been considered a voluntary quit.

Depending on your Division and Union, any time off beyond 7-days usually requires an approved leave-of-absence from HR.

- School leave

- Medical leave

- Family leave

- Extended unpaid vacations

otherwise it looks like job abandonnedment and you are terminated...

Ask a your local area Union Representative (...not your in-store Union steward...)
