I gotta wonder who wonder what they are thinking with the hiring of some of the people I work with. We recently had a guy get arrested for breaking into a school, yet he still has his job. I've mentioned him before, but we've also have had a guy who lived in a homeless shelter that didn't get fired until he got into a fight with a cop, not fired for the money and liquor he's believed to have stolen.
And they also recently hired a girl, who worked there before that was 8 1/2 months pregnant. She told them she was only staying until she had the baby. And she just lasted a little over 1 1/2 weeks before she gave birth. I know you can't discriminate, but what's the point in this situation? Spend that time training her to run a register then she's gone for good.
so are you saying kroger shouldnt give people second chances and an oppourtunity? His past is the past.. Belived and proven are two completely different things. Best I can say about kroger is just do your job, kroger is like some NFL rosters, they have a couple good people, the rest they take what they can get even when they know they need better because its cheap labor.
Crackhead guy that smoked one time on the clock=STILL EMPLOYED
Hard working gal late too many times=GONE
Drinking idiot drunk=STILL EMPLOYED
Reliable guy told a dirty joke = ...wait for it... G.O.N.E.!
Why hire people, keep the dumbasses and then get rid of the decent folk?!?
