I started Kroger in July and as of last paycheck, I'm STILL paying this union initiation fee??? I've paid $80 so far in "UNION ARREARS" and $160.83 in "UNION DUES 1"... When will it stop? Why are the dues so high too?
Op here, yeah but I wanted to join the union in case I get a union job elsewhere... It's the same union... I'm just wondering exactly how much this fee is really. =/ It's been 5 months and I'm still paying it.

So far I've paid $85.
Hmmm, that doesn't sound right. HOWEVER, a couple of months ago, union dues were raised by 69 cents. It's possible arrears were raised as well (but I didn't hear anything about it).
