I only been working since mid july and I just notice I make 25 cents more than what I started. I started as bagger for a week and made 7.30. Then I was moved up to cashier only after a week of working there so of course cashiers make more... Went up to 7.45. I was just looking over my pay stubs and notice during the pay period of 09/29/2013 - 10/05/2013 my pay went up to 7.55. I am not complaining lmao I was just trying to keep up to whenever I suppose to get a raise....
Check in your breakroom on the bulletin board. There should be a union book there so you can check out the pay progression. Or ask an older employee if you they have a copy you can glance at.
I haven't seen the newest contract handbook that started over 6 months ago yet. They weren't printed yet last time I asked for one! I have seen general outlines of it on paper. I look at the old one to get an idea.
Here, we get a raise after 6 months, then a year, then 2 years, the 3,4,5, and last at 6 years. The new contract does it by years but also combines commulative hours worked into the computation.
Log into ExpressHR at the bottom left of page with your UEID.
Click Personal Profile. Scroll down to Salary/Wage info. It used to show me when and how much my next raise is. But, I am topped out so it doesn't show it any longer.
Find ou who your union stewards are the can tell about when you will get a raise. They also can get you a book. On the bulletion board outside your breakroom should have the unions 800 number. You could request a union rule book from them.

Also how can I get a new union book?
Not sure what is going on but 7.45 for a part time store clerk is the only pay rate you mentioned that makes sense. 7.30 and 7.55 aren't listed in the contract at all. The closest I can find are 7.35 for a starting courtesy clerk and 7.60 for a store clerk after 6 months service.
As for a contract book, the new ones are out now and your store's union stewards will be able to procure one for you. If you don't know who they are, ask around.
